Bombshell Enduro Volunteers Needed
We’re looking for 30 more awesome volunteers to help make the Bombshell Enduro a success! This is a super fun women’s mountain bike event held at Silver Star Mountain Resort.
We need segment timers and course marshalls to help keep the event running smoothly. Whether you can spare a few hours or the whole day, your support makes a huge difference! No experience is necessary - you'll be provided everything you need to do the role.

A chance to cheer on incredible women racers
And of course, a day spent in the beautiful outdoors with a great community!

Solstice Social Ride
Join us next Thursday at the Cougar Canyon parking lot for a ride and a bite! The guided ride on Be Kind rolls out at 5:30pm — it's designed for intermediate riders or those familiar with the route.
Prefer your own pace? Head out on your own and meet us back after. Either way, stick around after the ride for beef or veg tacos and maybe even a little ice cream treat.

That’s a wrap on Bike Fest and the NOCS 20th Anniversary Bash — and what a hit it was!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate, enjoyed the mouth-watering Smokehouse BBQ, played lawn games, raised a glass (and a forkful of cake), and made the day unforgettable
Handlebars & Hotcakes Recap
What a day! Perfect weather, awesome turnout, and good vibes all around. Local bike shops brought out the latest models, and our members showed up strong to test them out.
The pancake breakfast was a hit — full plates, happy tummies, and lots of smiles.
Bikefest Trail Day
Our Volunteers came out on Trail Day to work on the Sovereign Trails. Hammered Cow, Rock is the New Berm, Thread, Coffee Grind, Soup to Nuts, and My Way or the Highway have all been cleared and buffed!
There are still a few snow patches and clusters of downed trees to clear, but everything should be good to go by next weekend.

Cam Sorensen has been building trails in British Columbia for over 25 years. He has been a trailblazer for trail development and sustainability in the Province and a leader for fellow trail builders to follow.
From his early beginnings of making trails so he and his friends could have more options to ride, to building the Silverstar Bike Park into one of the best in Canada, Cam continues to pursue his passion of creating the perfect trail.
Predator Social Ride
We’re excited to partner with Predator Ridge for this month’s Social Ride, followed by an après event in their Clubhouse Ballroom. Stick around after the ride for a full BBQ including burgers, fries, Caesar salad, and a cash bar.
This event is your chance to learn more about Ellison Landing — a new park-inspired neighborhood coming to the edge of Ellison Provincial Park. The Predator Ridge development team will be there to share their vision and talk about future trail access as part of this evolving area.
Come ride, eat, connect, and be part of the conversation about the future of trails in the Predator Ridge community.

Ride early when the ground is still frozen.
Avoid mud—riding soft trails causes trail braiding & long-term damage.
Explore other options: hit Silver Star for some turns, glide on skinny skis at Sovereign, or go for a spin on the Rail Trail.
Take care of the trails now, and they’ll take care of you all season long.
