The North Okanagan Cycling Society (NOCS) announces that the Bombshell Enduro will no longer operate as a NOCS-hosted event and will move forward as a privately run event. While the two organizations are parting ways in their event partnership, both remain committed to supporting the continued growth of enduro riding in the North Okanagan.
NOCS will continue growing upon previous events, the Enduro will grow into a full two day bike festival on the July 11–12 weekend at SilverStar Mountain Resort. This refreshed weekend will feature the Gravity Women’s Enduro on Day 1, followed by the Manduro on Day 2—inviting men to take their cue from the women’s event and join in the fun. This continues to be a non-profit event with any proceeds going back into trails and other initiatives. Riders can expect an action-packed celebration of the sport, complete with great food, music, and all the good times that make mountain biking in the Okanagan special.
Bombshell Enduro is moving forward as an independent private event - and are returning to their roots in Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park. The same leadership team who has been with Bombshell since day one will continue to bring the event to life.
We’re thrilled to be launching this fresh chapter while staying true to the spirit that has defined Bombshell from the beginning. Taking place on the summer solstice, June 20,2026, get ready for an unforgettable celebration of community, confidence, and the joy of riding.
Both NOCS and Bombshell Enduro share a common goal: to continue growing opportunities for riders—especially women—to participate in enduro racing. Each organization is excited to offer two distinct events that will help strengthen the regional riding community, expand participation, and create new pathways for riders of all levels.
“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together, and we’re equally excited about what comes next,” said Julie Melanson, NOCS Executive Director.. “The expanded Silver Star festival will celebrate women’s riding while opening up a new opportunity for men, and we can’t wait to see our community come together.”
As both events evolve, riders can look forward to two unforgettable weekends of racing, community, and progression.
