Toonie Thursday is ready to rock and roll... with a Lookout Loop.

Toonie Rides are back, virtually this week! Starting today you have until Sunday at noon to ride the Lookout trail (remember to record it on trailforks... heaven forbid you have to ride the wall twice in one week!!).
This weeks ride is sponsored by Olympia Cycle and Josie Hotel. Prizes up for grabs from our amazing sponsors are 3 x $100 gift certificates to Olympia Cycle and a two night stay at the Josie Hotel. That means you have 4 chances to win -- I like those odds!!
Our food sponsor is none other than Marten Brewing Co. They are offering $5 tacos and $5 steins with a $1 donation to NOCS for every purchase.... but let's be honest they had me at tacos and beer!! Tacos and beer after a ride up the wall sounds like perfection!
So what you need to do :: download the TrailForks app, and to purchase your $20.00 Toonie Ride Season Pass, head to our website (www.nocs.ca) to purchase this pass. Then record your session of the wall on trailforks and label it Nocs Toonie Ride #1. Snap a pic of you on the trail, or having your beer and tacos at Martin's Brew Pub and tag us at #mtbvernon and #NOCSVirtualToonie. Wait to hear who wins the draw in next weeks newsletter. Pretty simple and super fun.
FYI :: If you don't have a NOCS Membership you will need to purchase one to be eligible to win prizes. This is open to all ages so if you have some younger or older biking Ninjas in your crew encourage them to join in the fun! |

| Sunday's Trail Day was s great turnout with more than 20 people!! Gingerly, Beaver Basher, Black Powder, No Boats, Cosens Bay Express, Freaky Creaky all got some much needed brushing. A big thank you to the volunteers that showed up for our first trail day of the season as well as Fractured Films for the promo video and donation, Nor Val Equipment for brush saws and Uncle Uncle Dave's Pizza for filling our bellies after! |
