From rocky ridge lines to lakeside loops, the North Okanagan is a dream for trail lovers — and it didn’t happen by accident. For over three decades, passionate builders, community leaders, and riders have carved out a world-class trail network right here at home.
As we celebrate 20 years of NOCS, we honour the grit, vision, and community spirit that have made Greater Vernon the Trails Capital of B.C. Whether you're hiking, biking, or trail running this summer, remember: every ride is made possible by the hands behind the trail.
The Crankworx Summer Series is back at Silver Star — August 1 to 4! NOCS will be there.
Join us for an epic weekend of fast berms, big air, and world-class riding. From Pump Track to Slopestyle, Dual Slalom to DH racing, it’s four full days of mountain bike stoke. Plus: live music, art, food, and community vibes all weekend long.
Sip for the trails! Grab a cold one onsite for just $6 — every beer supports NOCS and the trails you love. NOCS will be onsite at the Saturday pump track event (4:30 - 8pm) and the Sunday Slopestyle (10am - noon).
Join us for an epic social ride at Silver Star! $5 donation at registration, with all proceeds to NOCS. Burgers will be provided (veggie/vegan options available if noted on the form).

That’s a wrap on Bike Fest and the NOCS 20th Anniversary Bash — and what a hit it was!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate, enjoyed the mouth-watering Smokehouse BBQ, played lawn games, raised a glass (and a forkful of cake), and made the day unforgettable
What a day! Perfect weather, awesome turnout, and good vibes all around. Local bike shops brought out the latest models, and our members showed up strong to test them out.
The pancake breakfast was a hit — full plates, happy tummies, and lots of smiles.
Our Volunteers came out on Trail Day to work on the Sovereign Trails. Hammered Cow, Rock is the New Berm, Thread, Coffee Grind, Soup to Nuts, and My Way or the Highway have all been cleared and buffed!
There are still a few snow patches and clusters of downed trees to clear, but everything should be good to go by next weekend.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out for our latest Trail Ninjas Build Day! Your hard work keeps our trails running smooth and our community strong.
Bikefest is almost here! Celebrate 20 Years of Trails & Good Times!
Join us for an unforgettable event packed with fun, friends, and memories. But don’t wait — ticket sales for the bash - ticket sales extended!!!
