The North Okanagan Cycling Society is one of the fastest growing multi-use trail ORGANISATIONS in the Province of British Columbia.
The Society’s mission is to create positive trail experiences for multi-use trail users in the North Okanagan. NOCS works collaboratively with its membership, stakeholders, local First Nations, local/ provincial governments, and the community.
In a partnership with BC Parks and RSTBC, the club has established and legitimised an impressive network of multi-use trails within the Provincial Parks and Crown Land in the greater Vernon Area. Most significantly in Coldstream, District B and C as well as some in Vernon. Volunteer trail days scheduled throughout the year enable the club to help maintain the significant inventory of multi-use trails within Kalamalka, Silver Star and Ellison Provincial Parks. These authorised trails are used by mountain bikers, hikers, trail runners, dog walkers and horseback riders at no cost to the end user.
